Description
The DeviceNet Master Module allows a control system CPU to send and receive data over a DeviceNet network. It can act as master for up to 63 slaves on the DeviceNet network.
It can also be configured to simultaneously function as a slave to another master on the bus.
The IC693DNM200 module is a GE Fanuc device net master module of the 90-30 series. It has a rated voltage of 12-24VDC positive logic with an ON-state voltage drop of 0.3 V DC. The ON and OFF response times are 0.5ms maximum.
Furthermore, the master module comes with 32 output points organized in groups of four with each group having 8 points.
It has an inrush current of 5.4 Amps for 10ms and an output current is 0.5 Amps per point with a 4Amps current per group and 3 Amps maximum per group common pin.
It exchanges I/O messages and custom explicit messages with up to 63 other devices on the network. On Device Net networks that include a higher-level host computer, this module’s built-in server function can be used for both automatic data transfer and custom explicit messaging with the master.
